This poster was designed and illustrated to promote a theatre show called “Stories of our History”. The main idea consisted in designing a promotional poster that would be appealing to a children audience and their parents. The show was about the history of Portugal, through the lens of music and funny stories. The poster composition includes two main characters: Infante D. Henrique and Luís de Camões, beside several visual references to the history of Portugal and to “Revista à Portuguesa”, a sort of Portuguese traditional variety show or music hall.
